about

The Katz Dalsey Academy Charter School was co-founded by Drew’s late father, Lewis Katz, and Marcella Dalsey, who shared a passion for supporting the children of Camden. Thanks to their shared vision, and the ongoing support of the Foundation, the Katz Dalsey Academy Charter School has established a progressive Pre-K 3 through 4th Grade program for its 476 students (current enrollment). The school’s curriculum is anchored by the New Jersey Student Learning Standards and is delivered in a small school, theme-based environment. The school employs technology to meet the needs of current and future students. A special focus is placed on enhancing student skills in literacy, mathematics, and technology.
